MATSURI in MANILA 2026 was held on April 25, 2026, at Quirino Grandstand in Rizal Park, Manila, Philippines.
Through music, food, entertainment, and traditional culture, the event brought Japanese and Filipino culture together. Visitors gathered to celebrate the friendship between the two countries and the possibilities for new cultural exchange.

The year 2026 marks the 70th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and the Philippines. MATSURI in MANILA 2026 is listed on the 70th Philippines–Japan Friendship Year Event Calendar published by the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines.
Held during this milestone year, MATSURI created an opportunity for people from both countries to meet and deepen their understanding of one another’s cultures through entertainment, food, and cultural experiences.
